The Rosen brothers are at it again, with another impressive collection of games for our purchasing pleasure.
Announced yesterday was The Humble Botanicula Debut. Among this compilation of software come several stellar creations from Amanita Design, including the new adventure game Botanicula, and proven titles, Machinarium, and Samorost 2. Also featured in this bundle is the point-and-click puzzler, Windosill, and in a delightful twist, a full-length film dubbed, Kooky.
The latter two additions, like previous bundles, are only available if you pay above the average purchasing price, which (as of this writing) sits at: $8.76. Furthermore, “soundtracks for the Amanita Design games are included,” according to the official Humble Bundle site.
As always, we, the gamers, decide what price to pay, and how our monies are distributed. Leading the pack of charitable recipients is World Land Trust, a protector of biological habitats.
With 12 days remaining, 43,184 bundles sold, and nearly $400k donated, HBD is off to a great start. No surprise, as Amanita Design is a proven developer with an award winning catalog. Credibility indeed.
What does this mean? It means you owe it yourself to be about it and get your bundle on! Buy games at your own price, reap the benefits and help noble causes. Win.
